The establishment of a NEW

Centre for Research on Respiration and Antimicrobial Materials

The research within the Centre should be dedicated to “state-of-the-art” research on the development of novel antimicrobial materials and surface coatings to be used in respiratory medical devices and other indwelling catheters, as well as on the clinical implications of the same. Clinical experiences and patient reported outcomes will also be addressed, as well as in-depth respiratory research, i.e. respiratory regulation, obstructive sleep apnea syndrom (OSAS) and hypoventilation with homeventilation.
